This plant is described on page 213 of the book New Zealand Gardening Encyclopedia. Its name is Rhaphiolepis delacourii with "Enchantress" being a compact form with rose pink flowers. Nic's mother expressed an interest in the shrub when she visited Nic who was house sitting for us at the time. (See House Sitting) I located this seedling growing quite close to the main shrub and will give it to her. It flowers late winter to end of spring.
