In the Unitec campus in Auckland are several magnificent specimans of what I think are mature Jacaranda trees. But are they? At the time of photographing them the wind was quite strong and many of the bright blue blooms were being either damaged or simply blown off the tree. I will revisit the tree next week to see if I can a better shot. There is also a large tree covered in red blossom that I would also like to photograph located quite close to the Student Services Building. Another job for next week.
